Doha: The St. Regis Doha, the finest address in Qatar, is taking its majestic Ramadan tents to new heights with its Ramadan Souq at the Grand Ballroom.
Once again, the ballroom is transformed into a Ramadan experience with award-winning promise. The hotel was presented previously with the QTA Award for ‘The Finest Ramadan Tent in Qatar’ following feedback from citizens and GCC visitors. The souq is serving Iftar and Suhoor with local and a broad selection of contemporary global cuisine and sweets and desserts. There is world-class entertainment along with special shisha flavours, at QR230 for Iftar and QR290 for Suhour.
An additional tent, Al Sukaria, at Al Gassar Ballroom, provides a modern interpretation of local culture. The ballroom serves as a timeless and elegant backdrop for Suhour only, and features a screen broadcasting key football matches and live music. It serves Egyptian cuisine and special shisha. Guests will be able to enjoy at QR145 inclusive of food and selected Ramadan beverages only.
The hotel is exhibiting beIN’s UEFA Euro 2016 football coverage live from France, with an upgraded signal of 4K — four times the HD viewing experience — on five screens in private cabanas at Al Sukaria Tent. There is also the largest LED screen in Doha — 6.92-metre by four-metre — accompanied by two slightly smaller screens.
Opal by Gordon Ramsay at the hotel is serving its European classics during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Starwood Hotels & Resorts across the Middle East is inviting taxi drivers to local hotels to celebrate ‘Iftar for Cabs’. The St. Regis Doha will celebrate ‘Iftar for Cabs’ on June 21 by distributing food and drinks to taxi drivers who work year round to provide transportation to the hotel’s guests.
The hotel will launch Summer Nights offer, including one-night free stay throughout summer. Guests booking during the promotion will be able to book and pay for two nights and stay for three or book and pay for three nights and stay for four, which will include access to the hotel’s Remedé Spa facilities, recreation centre and full access to the Olympic pool and private beach.
To redeem the offer, guests will have to book by August 28 and stay at the hotel by August 31.
