Hong Kong stock up 0.23% at open

Hong Kong--Hong Kong stocks edged up 0.23 percent in the first few minutes of trade Wednesday following a big loss in the previous session, while investors await the release of key Chinese indicators later in the day.
The Hang Seng index added 63.93 points to 27,471.11.
But in mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.49 percent, or 21.49 points, to 4,379.73.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 1.45 percent, or 35.18 points, to 2,390.72.
