A Technical Seminar on “Ex Motors and IEC Standards” was held by the Qatar chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) in association with ABB at Oryx Rotana Hotel recently.
Guest speakers from ABB conducted the five-hour seminar on IEC standards, hazardous environments and area classification, standards in hazardous areas, regulations and concepts of Ex-protection modes, service requirements for Ex equipment, selection and erection standards etc.
