Several traders in Souq Harraj complained about street vendors affecting their sales and the market’s reputation. They urged concerned authorities to take action against hawkers. 

There were talks about a statement by an HMC official about the number of smokers in Qatar, which amounted to 14 percent of the population. 

People demanded that authorities shift mires of sewage water far from the residential areas and roads as they are causing unpleasant odour and breeding  insects. 

Unconfirmed information originated from the SEC said there was a possibility of making education compulsory for children between four and 18 years. 

Some people demanded that authorities improve the management of the vegetable market to ease trader and consumer movements and monitor prices in a way that serve businessmen and consumers. 

There were talks about the need for strict monitoring of sewage trucks as many drivers are dumping loads in open spaces in residential areas. 

Some people criticised the existence of the waiting room for men at the women’s hospital entrance and called for an alternative.

Citizens said commercial centres should develop marketing plans, especially during promotions, to avoid crowds and provide enough cashiers to avoid long queues.

People demanded that the Ministry of Housing take the responsibility of building homes for citizens in accordance with certain criteria to avoid cheating by fake construction companies which refuse most of the time to repay dues and delay submission.

There was a suggestion to establish a company for Haj under the Ministry of Awqaf to replace the campaign system used for the past 10 years.
