Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of India and IBPC, Qatar, jointly organised a Business Interaction with H E Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Al Daibel Hall, Four Seasons Hotel, Al Corniche / West Bay, Doha.
The event featured a networking session from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by the main interaction with the Minister at 3:00 PM.
The session provided an excellent platform for participants to engage with the Minister and gain insights into India’s energy sector, as well as emerging opportunities for collaboration between India and Qatar.
The session was opened and moderated by Thaha Muhammed Abdul Kareem, President of IBPC Qatar, who welcomed the Hon’ble Minister and the esteemed guests, highlighting the strengthening relationship between India and Qatar.
During the interactive segment, H E Hardeep Singh Puri engaged with the attendees and expressed appreciation for Qatar’s continued support to the Indian diaspora.
The Minister told in his remarks that his visit was to convey solidarity of India with Qatar in the current circumstances.
He lauded the contributions of Indian businessmen and professionals to Qatar’s economic development.
The Minister also shared perspectives on India’s economic growth, policy reforms, and the government’s commitment to fostering global trade linkages and sustainable partnerships with Qatar.
Following the Minister’s address, the floor was opened for an engaging Q&A session, during which members of the audience interacted directly with the Hon’ble Minister.
The discussion featured insightful exchanges on trade facilitation, future prospects and opportunities, and avenues for strengthening collaboration between Indian and Qatari enterprises.
The session concluded with a networking interaction and high tea, providing an opportunity for delegates, business leaders, and professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and explore future partnerships.
