An official reception ceremony was held in honour of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is on an official visit, upon his arrival at the Quirinale Palace in Rome on Monday.
The reception was hosted by the Italian President HE Sergio Mattarella.
The event began with the playing of the Qatari and Italian national anthems, and HH the Amir subsequently greeted a number of the members of the Italian official delegation and senior officials as per protocol.
The Italian President in also greeted their Excellencies the members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
