Total recently commemorated six of its employees for their long-standing service and commitment to the French Company.
The event took place during its annual party which was held in the Four Seasons hotel, in which appreciation certificates and presents were awarded to the six employees who are of Qatari, Lebanese and Pakistani descent.
The event was attended by almost all of the company’s employees and their spouses. The evening also featured special performances by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and world renowned illusionist Laurent Beretta.
Managing Director Stephane Michel delivered a speech, thanking long-serving employees for playing an important role in the success of the company.
Total also bid farewell to some of its other employees who were leaving the affiliate, including Managing director Stephane Michel himself, who will take up his new position as President Middle East, Exploration & Production Division at Total.
“It is always very difficult to say goodbye to colleagues and friends who you have worked with for years, and have become a part of your daily life,” said Stephane Michel in his farewell speech.
“However, this is the unavoidable part of life which keeps on moving at a constant pace. I am fortunate to have worked with reliable and creative colleagues, and I thankful for this valuable experience which I will always carry with me”.
