•     Some people demanded that authorities put in place rules and regulations to enforce vehicle owners to keep their number plates when they become out of use, and get them cancelled and obtain clearance. They said it will help authorities transfer faster damaged vehicles to the scrap yard, spare owners any possible fines and reduce the possibility of criminals using such plates.
•     Residents of the area surrounding the central market renewed their demand to relocate the livestock market and said many buildings in the area were being used to store fertilisers. They said recent rains created pools in low-lying areas and the animal excreta led to unbearable odour and posed danger to the health of the people, particularly children.
•     People expressed surprise over the decision of allocating parking spaces to Villaggio administrative staff while thousands of visitors suffer due to a shortage of spaces particularly during weekend.
•     Some people urged authorities to tighten monitoring of trucks transporting construction materials on Mesaieed road and said many did not cover the materials, which scattered all over the road and posed threat to the safety of other motorists.
•     Many people complained about vehicle insurance companies, saying when there is an accident, firms ask clients to cover 50 percent of maintenance cost and use secondhand spare parts even when they are not responsible for the mishap.
•     People demanded that authorities monitor bookshops which sell sets of questions and answers in small booklets to avoid official action against them.
•     Many people expressed disappointment over the recent rains flooding Doha streets and said though the rainfall was very less, the problem was due to the inefficient sewage system.
