Monoprix Qatar, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), has launched the “Korean Week” at its flagship Monoprix Place Vendôme store, taking place from November 6 to 15, 2025. The week-long celebration, themed “Discover Korea with Us,” invites guests to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Korea through a series of engaging daily events.

Each day highlights a distinct facet of Korean culture, from Korean Food Experience, Family and Kids’ Day, and Beauty Day, to Korean Drama & Lifestyle, and a grand finale featuring K-Pop and Culture Day. The event transforms the store into a cultural bridge, where authenticity meets innovation, and tradition harmonizes with modern lifestyle.

H E Yun Hyunsoo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Qatar, graced the opening ceremony alongside Mr. Sébastien Farhat, COO Consumer & Hi-Tech Retail, senior Monoprix management, and Embassy representatives. Visitors were treated to food tastings, product samplings, and beauty experiences that showcased South Korea’s global influence in gastronomy, wellness, and popular culture.

Speaking at the event, H E Hyunsoo, stated, “Korean Week at Monoprix Qatar is a celebration and an invitation to experience the heart of South Korea. Through food, art, and culture, we hope to bring our two nations closer and strengthen the friendship between South Korea and Qatar.”
