Doha: The Local Dates Festival 2016 organised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in collaboration with Souq Waqif concludes on Sunday.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, 45,612kg of dates were sold so far during the 18-day festival.
There is also a huge demand for varieties of dates produced by local farms, added the ministry.
