Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced on Sunday the operating hours of several essential services that will continue during the national mourning period following the passing of the Father Amir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In a statement, the ministry said a number of services will remain available to ensure uninterrupted support for the public throughout the mourning period.
According to the announced schedule:
-Department of Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad: Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am to 12pm.
-MoPH's Newborn Registration Office at the Women's Wellness and Research Center (WWRC): Daily from 8am to 12pm.
-Unified Humanitarian Services Office: Two daily shifts from 8am to 12pm and 4pm to 7pm.
Earlier, the Amiri Diwan announced four days of national mourning across the country following the passing of the Father Amir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The mourning period began on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with work suspended in ministries, government agencies, public bodies and institutions from Monday, July 13, while employees are scheduled to resume work on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
