Doha, Qatar: Qatar University (QU) announced the reopening of admission for Qatari male students who have obtained their secondary school certificate by the end of the academic year 2022-2023. This decision comes in response to the recent announcement by the National Service Academy, stating that national service will be postponed for students meeting specific academic criteria.

Admission for Qatari male students will continue until next week or on July 20. This reopening of admissions presents an excellent opportunity for aspiring students to pursue their university education without interruption.

The National Service Academy’s decision to postpone national service for students whose high school average is not less than 75% of those accepted into universities for the academic year 2023-2024 has paved the way for QU to extend this opportunity.  QU President, Dr. Omar Al Ansari, expressed his support for this initiative, emphasising the university’s commitment to providing students with a smooth academic journey. “We are delighted to reopen the admission process for Qatari male students. This decision aligns with Qatar University’s vision to offer students a seamless path to completing their education. We want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams without any delays or interruptions.”

Dr. Al Ansari urged students to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications to various colleges within the specified time.
