Paris: The State of Qatar participated today in the Paris International Civil Society Conference on Two-State Solution.

Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad represented that State of Qatar at the conference.

The conference comes within the context of growing international efforts to advance a political settlement to the Palestinian cause. It aims to update the "Paris Call," launched in 2025, with the participation of Palestinian, Israeli, regional, and international civil society organizations.

The conference focuses on five main themes: strengthening security, ensuring humanitarian access to Gaza, implementing the two-state solution on the ground, supporting the peace process, and deepening regional integration. These themes align with the State of Qatar's unwavering priorities in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and promoting peaceful solutions based on international law.

This Qatari participation is of great importance, as it comes in preparation for the G7 meeting in the French Republic, and to activate the outcomes of the international conference to implement the two-state solution, which was sponsored by the United Nations and co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic.
