Doha: Freej Aspire was officially opened on Friday evening.
Engineer Hilal Al Kuwari, President, Aspire Zone Foundation, Mohammad Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Acting CEO, AZF, and others dignitaries attended the opening ceremony and toured the venue to learn about activities and features.
Freej Aspire includes a traditional games area, a corner for traditional arts and henna, a cycling exhibition, children’s shows on the Freej Aspire stage, children’s workshops on Arabic calligraphy and graffiti, miniature football fields and basketball courts, in addition to spaces for small and medium Qatari businesses to exhibit products and services.
It offers members of the community the opportunity to enjoy a unique cultural atmosphere in an 8,000 square metre air-conditioned open area across from Aspire Printing Press. It concludes on June 19.
