DOHA: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has asked all Independent Schools to reduce their working hours from May 15.
KG classes will close at 11:10am, primary schools at 11:45am and preparatory and secondary schools at QR12:35pm.
The instruction was issued by the Schools Affairs Department at the Ministry in a circular sent to all Independent schools, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reports.
The decision was taken to give an opportuny to students to revise their lessons and prepare for forthcoming annual examination.
