MES Indian School students during Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2019 test.
Doha: MES Indian School has been recognised as a ‘Mathematics Promotion School’ by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, for its overwhelming participation and support in the recently concluded Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2019, a computer-based online test conducted by CBSE to promote the general competencies among students to apply mathematics in their daily life.
The Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2019 was held in two stages at MES Indian School in November 2019. The stage-1 of the test was held on November 20, 2019 in which a total of 927 students including 523 boys and 404 girls had registered for the test.
Juveriya Mohammad of 10 -R, Jeswin Binu Chacko of 10-H and Arhaan Mudassir Rajpurkar 10 -B emerged as the top three students of stage-1 and got selected for stage-2. The second stage of the test was held online in the main computer lab of MES Indian School on November 29, 2019.
