International Bank of Qatar (ibq) took part in the Career Fair held at Qatar Banking Studies & Business Administration Independent Secondary School for Boys. The Career Fair opened its doors on March 10 and continues till today, from 8am-12pm, and from 4pm-8pm.

The ibq team showcased its leadership development programme, scholarship and summer internship opportunities for young Qatari students, reaffirming the bank’s strong commitment to developing talented individuals who have the ambition to pursue a career in banking and finance, in line with the country’s Qatarization strategy.
An ibq human resource expert, who oversees talent management and development, offered orientation on how to craft and maintain a rewarding, interesting and successful career path and discuss the opportunities available to students.
Saleh Al Kuwari, AGM - Head of Human Resources and Governmental Affairs at ibq, said: “The importance of this event lies in its focus on the development needs of future Qatari leaders at a critical stage, when career interests begin to take shape. ibq’s approach focuses on building future Qatari leaders through talent development and training. This is why ibq is taking the opportunity to showcase its training, internship and scholarship offers tailored to the specific requirements of that education level and age.”The Peninsula
