The students of Kid’n Around Kindergarten with an official during the event organised in association with Qatar Charity to aid workers.
DOHA: Qatar Charity has received in-kind donations from Kid’n Around Kindergarten during an event held at the kindergarten campus under the QC’s “Greeting for You” campaign to support the workers in Qatar.
Kid’n Around Kindergarten held the event in partnership with Qatar Charity, aiming to instill the value of charity work in the heart of students and consolidate the idea of helping vulnerable people, and appreciating the efforts of workers, who contributed to the country development.
All kids; both male and female, participated in the in-kind donations collection process, continued for two weeks, in cooperation with their parents and the kindergarten, which led to the success of the event.
On this occasion, the kindergarten expressed its pride in the fruitful and meaningful partnership with Qatar Charity, which helped promote the idea of supporting the needy, especially workers in Qatar.
The Director of Kid’n Around Kindergarten, Anoud Jaber Al Kuwari said that we aim to deepen the idea of helping workers and vulnerable and needy segments of the society among the children and encourage them to participate in the humanitarian work by holding such events in order to appreciate the valuable contributions of the workers to the development of this benevolent country.
Farid Al Siddiqui, Director of Projects and Centers at Qatar Charity, expressed his pride in such an initiative from kindergarten, children and their families, which helps Qatar Charity to continue its humanitarian work inside and outside the country to support the needy people around the globe. “This initiative falls under the framework of the support from the different partnering institutions and organizations within the country, pointing out that the initiative is a complementary process to accustom the children to do good at an early age” he added.
