Aster opens 7th medical centre at Al Gharafa

Aster Medical Centre, a division of Aster DM Healthcare, the largest healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East and India, opened its seventh medical centre in Qatar at Al Gharafa. 
The new facility near the immigration office offers a comprehensive range of medical services including General Medicine, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Endocrinology, along with pharmacy, x-ray facility and sample collection for diagnostic services for both corporate and the public. Over the coming months, service of specialist paediatrician, a fully-fledged diagnostic centre equipped with advanced radiology department and clinical laboratories will be made available.
The medical facility was inaugurated by Sheikh Ali bin Abdulla bin Ahmed Ali Al Thani in the presence of Dr Sameer Moopan, Chief Executive Officer, Aster DM Healthcare- Qatar and other dignitaries, yesterday.
The new facility also offers easy accessibility to nearest areas including Umm Salal, Lusail, Al Duhail and Madinat Khalifa. Marking the celebration of Aster’s 30 years compassionate care in the Middle East, the expansion is part of the Group’s aim to widen its reach across the region.
“The core of our endeavour will always be to provide quality healthcare for all at an affordable cost. It is our fervent belief that comprehensive healthcare should so spread that no one should have to seek it in far off shores at huge cost and inconvenience,” said Dr Moopan. 
“At Aster, we believe that quality healthcare must be readily available and accessible to every locality and community, whether residential or industrial. By opening a new medical centre in Al Gharafa, we have taken a step towards this end,” he added.
The new medical centre is focused on serving the various communities residing in and around Al Gharafa. Aster Medical Centre has placed both experienced Arab and non-Arab doctors in the clinic. 
The clinic is open from Saturday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 4 pm to 9pm, though it will remain closed on Fridays.
