The artistes, who staged various dazzling performances, with the members of Indian Cultural Centre during the event.
The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) along with DPS Modern Indian School and Team Noopura conducted a cultural and classical dance programme recently in Ashoka Hall at the ICC premises.
Team Noopura presented classical dance form — Bho Shambho, Varnam and Thillana. The students of DPS Modern Indian School performed a group song, a classical and a semi Classical dance sequence.
The group presented a pair of motivational songs that instil in all the feeling of hope and the courage to fight against all obstacles.
Students then presented a semi-classical fusion of popular Indian classical dances, namely, Bharatanatyam, Keralanadanam, Kalari and Contemporary and finally presented a rich tradition of North India – Kathak, which is the Hindustani name for one of the eight major forms of Indian classical dance.

A P, welcomed the gathering and felicitated the artists with the appreciation plaques. He said that the programme was a continuation of the initiative by Indian Cultural Centre along with all ICC associate organisations, Indian schools and Indian cultural institutions in Qatar, to have cultural shows on every week in Ashoka Hall at the ICC premises.
Such programmes provide a suitable platform and opportunities for associate organisations of different states of India to showcase their culture. Admission to these programme will be free for all.
