The Teachers’ Day celebrations at DPS-MIS.
The students of DPS-MIS celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and gaiety.
Soon after morning prayer, the Head Girl of the Senior Wing, Advaita Nair, wished all the teachers on behalf of all the students, and thanked them for their immense contribution in moulding their lives.
It was followed by a poem recitation by Siddique Abdulla Zubair of Grade VI, which was a tribute to all the teachers for their commitment and dedication in imparting holistic education. During the recess, the members of the Student Council shared their memorable experiences about their school and teachers in the presence of the Principal, Asna Nafees, headmistresses, coordinators and class representatives.
The DPS-MIS Management members also visited the school in order to appreciate and recognise the magnanimous efforts put in by the teachers in making a positive difference in the students’ life.
Addressing the gathering, DPS-MIS Council Member, M I Farid, emphasised on the cardinal role played by the teachers in building a strong society.
The President of DPS-MIS, Hassan Chougule, appreciated the teachers for their perseverance, patience and passion and acknowledged their extensive efforts in infusing the young minds with stronger values. The Principal shared her thoughts on the occasion and lauded the teachers for their devoted efforts. She also urged them to rededicate themselves continuously for the cause of education.
The students of senior school presented handmade cards to the teachers. It was indeed a proud day for the teachers to bask in this gesture of love and respect from their students. The annual award ceremony to felicitate the sincere efforts of the teachers will be held soon.
