Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) participated in the Global Green Growth Week which was held recently in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea. The Ministry’s delegation was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs Eng.Ahmed Mohammed Al Sada.
The four-day event was organised by the Global Green Growth Institute with the aim of identifying practical and innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and strengthen partnerships that deliver growth that is pro-poor, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable.
The Global Green Growth Week highlighted four thematic priorities of energy, water, land-use and green cities that are central to achieving strong, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth.
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is an international organization established in 2012.
