DOHA: Nasser Mohammed Al Malki has been appointed new Chairman of Mowasalat. The post was occupied by Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti.
Khalid Nasser Al Hail, Chief Executive Officer, Mowasalat since 2005, is now a member of the Board and Managing Director of the public transport and major stakeholder under the ministry, said a statement yesterday. Al Malki earlier held senior position at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Since the establishment of the ministry in 2013, Mowasalat has been contributing to the achievements of the ministry’s vision for a well-defined, modern transport network in the country, in collaboration with other stakeholders under the ministry and working for the development of the national economy.
