Doha: The Department of Meteorology warned that on Saturday to expect poor visibility at some places at first and thundery rain associated with strong wind inshore, and thundery rain associated with strong wind and high seas offshore.
The weather forecast for Qatar valid until 6pm Saturday inshore will be hazy to misty and foggy at places at first and partly cloudy to cloudy at chances of scattered rain, maybe thundery at places by evening. Offshore, it will be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain maybe thundery at places at times, the Department said in its daily report.
Wind inshore will be variable less than 05 knot at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot, reaching 25 knot with thundery rain. Offshore, the wind will be southeasterly at a speed of 03 to 12 knot becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 08 to 18 knot, reaching 22 knot with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 04 to 08 kilometer or less at places at first. The sea state inshore will be between 1 to 2/3 feet. offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet reaching 3 to 5/7 feet with thundery rain.
