The Hague: Dutch police said Tuesday they had arrested three people suspected of involvement in an explosion and fire at an apartment block in The Hague that killed at least six people.
Authorities also seized several cars and "cannot rule out further arrests," police said, adding they had received dozens of tips.
Rescue workers with sniffer dogs retrieved six bodies from the rubble of the collapsed building. Four people are still in hospital, two in serious condition.

Police have appealed for information on a car that was seen speeding away from the scene after the explosion, which took place around 6:15am on Saturday.
"Further investigation is required to determine whether one of the cars is also the car that drove away" from the scene, police said in a statement.
Three of the dead came from the same family. A man and woman aged 45 and 41 respectively, and their 17-year-old daughter.
An eight-year-old boy was the sole survivor from that family.
The other three victims were men aged 31, 44 and 63.
Nearly 600,000 euros ($631,000) has been raised to support the victims of the explosion.
