Doha: AP Sharma, Principal of Birla Public School, Doha received one of the most coveted award “Exemplary School Leadership Award” during “International Adolescent Summit” in Delhi. He also released the souvenir of the event with Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India and Vineet Joshi former chairman CBSE, presently Director General of “National Testing Agency”.
Sharma’s contribution in school leadership specially in the field of Adolescent education, parenting, career counselling and academic innovations for effective leadership were applauded. He was the only one educator to receive this award and honour.
An exhibition on adolescence issue was also inaugurated by Pranad Mukherjee and all the guests praised the efforts of students gathered from India and abroad. United Nations and UNICEF has kept this subject as one of the most important SDG’s for the next decades.
UNICEF has put gender equality, good health and well-being as central “Sustainable development goals”.
