Paris: Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has called for an immediate ceasefire in Syria and return to the negotiating table, stressing that a political solution is the only way to resolve the crisis.
The Minister was speaking at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State John Kerry, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, and the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, after the ministerial meeting on Syria in Paris yesterday. The Minister reiterated Qatar's commitment to fighting terrorism in Syria.
