Doha: Australian Ambassador to Qatar H E Jonathan Muir affirmed that Qatar’s investment in sport stadiums and advanced facilities will ensure that players and fans attend a world-class tournament during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Ambassador said that his country wishes Qatar success in hosting the World Cup, which will be held from November 20 to December 18.
He also added that the World Cup will have a positive impact on the country in various fields now and in the future. The envoy said Qatar’s leadership and officials have the right to be proud of the legacy of the World Cup, which will be implemented in a transforming society, dynamic economy, and an infrastructure that serves future generations.
