In recognition of its distinguished business excellence, Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) has won the ‘BIZZ 2016’ entrepreneurship award, one of the most prestigious international business awards, granted by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB).
The prestigious award, presented to the Academy in a ceremony recently held in Marrakesh- Morocco, crowns QFBA’s relentless efforts and its substantial contributions in the development of human capital in Qatar and the region, and raising the profile of country’s Financial Sector.
Sheikh Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani, Chairman of the QFBA Board, also received recognition for being a ‘World Business Leader’. He said, “We are really grateful for this distinguished recognition from WORLDCOB, which reaffirms the significance of the vision we have set for the Academy, and the effort we have put in at QFBA to turn it into a tangible reality for present and future generations of professionals and businesses in Qatar and across the region".
Meanwhile, Dr Abdulaziz Al Horr, QFBA’s CEO, has received recognition for being a ‘World Leading Businessperson’. “Today is a day for celebrating efforts of our team members at QFBA. This award is their prize and I am here as their representative," he said.
