DOHA: Qatar Charity (QC) has signed a partnership agreement with Ras Laffan Community Outreach Programme (COP) to implement a new educational programme to instil the love of science in the hearts of children.
Science subjects will no longer be taught in the old fashion method; quite the opposite, the in the most innovative ways, will be motivated and encouraged to explore the world of science.

The innovative Programme will be implemented in several independent schools in the northern regions such as Al Th’ayen, Simaisma, Al Dhakira, Al Ghuwariyah, K’ban and Al Shamal.
More than 2,000 male and female students will benefit from the programme. It includes 95 workshops in which the students will see different scientific experiments. The experiments will be performed in innovative, attractive and exciting ways. The workshops target around 2,375 participants. Ali Atiq Alabdallah, Director of QC’s Community Development Centre, said, “Such educational programmes have a key role in developing the community, which is why QC considers them as one of its main methods to achieve local development.
