Doha: The Office of the Organization of the Islamic Da’wa in Qatar has carried out 153 water projects in 25 countries funded by Qatari philanthropists at total cost of QR 3 million.
In a press release issued here today, Director-General of the Organization's office in Qatar Sheikh Hammad Abdul Qader said that some Qatari philanthropists have donated the funding during the past three months to carry out these projects as part of watering of goodness project which is implemented by the Islamic Dawa Organization in African and Arab countries.
Sheikh Abdul Qader pointed out that the Islamic Da'wa Organization's regional mission in Africa and affiliate offices in those countries actually start implemention of these projects which will be opened in the coming months as agreed upon with donors and technical specifications in accordance with agreements concluded by the two parties .
