Doha: Qatar Armed Forces have concluded the infantry competition for the year 2022.
The competition was held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and in the presence of Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.
Six armed forces units participated in the competition, which was held under the supervision of the Centre of Military Music and Parades for the 36th consecutive year.
The Centre of Military Music and Parades won the first place in the overall evaluation of the competition, while the General Command support forces won the second place, and the Military Police won the third place.
