LONDON: British police have successfully dealt with a security alert which caused the closure of a busy train station in east London on Monday, National Rail said.

Overground and underground trains were not stopping at Stratford while police investigated a suspicious vehicle at the nearby Westfield shopping centre before the incident was dealt with.
