DOHA: Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi has announced a special financial incentive for ministry employees who have been bestowed with judicial powers to conduct inspections and catch violations.
They will get five percent of total fines they collect from companies and erring outlets, Al Sharq reports. The total reward per person, however, will not exceed QR100,000.
The incentive is restricted to fines for violations caught during official inspection campaigns, said the daily.
The inspectors are not eligible for the reward if the violations are detected accidentally or through complaints from the public.
