Emir issues several instruments of ratification

Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued an instrument, approving ratification of the articles of an agreement between Qatar and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, signed in Beijing on June 29 last year.
The Emir issued six instruments of ratification, approving a draft agreement on cooperation in the field of culture between Qatar and Turkmenistan; a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of financial affairs between the Ministry of Finance and Turkmenistan’s Finance Ministry;   an MoU on tourism cooperation between both countries;  a draft MoU on cooperation in the field of sports; a draft MoU on cooperation in the field of transport; and a draft MoU on cooperation in the field of education — all signed in Ashgabat on March 7.
The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft MoU in the field of higher education, research and vocational education and training between Qatar and Australia, signed in Doha on January 25.
The Emir issued three instruments of ratification, approving ratification of an agreement on cooperation in the field of traditional industries between Qatar and Tunisia; an MoU between Qatar Central Bank and Central Bank of Tunisia; and an agreement on cooperation in the field of security, all signed in Doha on December 9 last year.
