Skills Development Centre (SDC), the centre of Arts & Performing Arts located at Salata Jadeed, conducted ‘Taal Yaatra’ a music concert based on Hindustani and Carnatic vocals accompanied by Tabla. The concert was inaugurated by Saleem Ponnambath, honorary President of Bhavan’s Public School.
The programmes were composed by Tabla performer and instructor of SDC, Pandit Santosh Kulkarni along with SDC music teachers Kalamandalam Simna and Pandit Prasad Pujari.
A fusion performance of Hindustani vocal, Carnatic vocal, western drum and classical violin was another highlight of the event.
