The Advisory Council held yesterday its regular weekly session during its 45th ordinary session under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, Secretary General Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read the agenda, which was approved before the council ratified the minutes of its previous meeting.
The Council reviewed a draft law to organize real estate brokerage and decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study it and submit a report thereon to the Council.
The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Advisory Council held a meeting during the 45th ordinary session under its rapporteur Nasser Rashid Seraye Al Kaabi.
The Committee reviewed the law to organise real estate brokerage and decided to pursuit its review at another meeting.
Meawhile, the speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi met here yesterday with the Cuban Ambassador to the State of Qatar Emilio Caballero Rodriguez. During the meeting, they discussed parliamentary relations between the two countries.
The Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen also attended the meeting.
