Doha: Under the patronage of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), the Global Organization for the Advancement of the Arabic Language, a member of Qatar Foundation, will organize the Second Session of the Advancement of Arabic Language Forum under the theme of "Linguistic Upbringing of the Arab Child - Reality And Future Prospects ", on January 20-21 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
The Forum aims to raise awareness of the importance of the systematic acquisition of Arabic language in the childhood phase.
Nearly 300 research professors, teachers and interested in educational affairs will take part in the Forum, which will focus on the methods of teaching Arabic language since childhood and means of making it more attractive to children in order to urge them to master it and be proud of it as the language of the Holy Qur'an and a great civilization's mean of talk.
The two-day event will also address the need to promote the proper use of the Arabic language among the Arab media and means of activating the role of parents in their children's education.
The conference includes several lectures and seminars as well as initiatives and workshops run by prominent experts and researchers in the educational affairs and methods of teaching Arabic language from different countries of the world.
