Eatery shut for 10 days

The Doha Municipality found two restaurants violating the law number 8 of the year 1990, regulating human food control. Inspectors found some expired food items at one of the restaurants, while the other one was preparing and storing food in unhealthy conditions.
The Municipality’s inspectors also shut down a restaurant for 10 days in Al Najma for selling food prepared in unhealthy conditions.
Meanwhile, the insect and rodent fighting unit at the municipality last month received 1,450 requests, among it 1,340 for fighting insects and 76 for rodents.
