Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Decree No. 21 of 2017 ratifying an air transport agreement between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed in Baku on August 28, 2007 and which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification endorsing a draft MoU on cooperation in the field of culture between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was signed in Doha on February 27, 2017.
The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification endorsing a draft MoU on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was signed in Doha on Feb. 27, 2017.
The Emir issued Decree No. 22 of 2017 ratifying cooperation agreement in the fields of culture and arts between the Governments of the State of Qatar and the United State of Mexico signed in Doha on January 21, 2016 and the annexed diplomatic notes on the approval of amending the text of article II of the agreement, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir issued the Decree No.23 of 2017 ratifying an MoU between Qatar Central Bank and Central Bank of Venezuela signed in Caracas on November 25, 2015, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued a Decree No. 24 of 2017 ratifying an MoU for cooperation in the field of financial affairs between the Ministry of Finance in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Finance in the Republic of Belarus signed in Doha on October 30, 2016, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir issued the Decree No. 25 of 2017 ratifying an agreement in the fields of culture and arts between Qatar and Kuwait signed in Doha on January 11, 2016, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir issued the Decree No. 26 of 2017 ratifying an air transport agreement between the governments of the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait signed in Doha on January 10, 2016, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The decrees shall be implemented effective from the date of their issuance and they shall be published in the Official Gazette.
The Emir also ratified the Cabinet decision No 19 of 2017 approving the application of the provisions of Law No. 24 of 2002 on retirement and pensions of Qatari employees by Al Qayed Holding Group Company. The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
