Riyadh: H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, led a Qatar delegation to the 36th Ministerial Meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting, which was held yesterday at the GCC’s General Secretariat in Riyadh, was attended by ministers responsible for industrial development in GCC member states.
The participants reviewed the joint GCC action in the industrial field and a number of issues pertinent to the industrial sector in GCC countries, including coordination in issues of mutual concern for all GCC members.
Topics under discussions included the recommendations related to the exemption of GCC industrial input and the evaluation of the GCC Industrial Development Uniform Strategy.
Dr Al Sada was accompanied to the meeting by a number of high officials from the Ministry of Energy and Industry, a Qatar Petroleum press release said yesterday.
