Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the Strategic Communications Building and the Remote Sensing Building of the Qatari Emiri Signal Corps and Information Technology, at Al Dehailiyat Army Camp.
The Amir listened to a briefing on the various modern facilities and equipment, and was briefed on the latest technological means, information technology and mechanisms related to the communications system.
The Amir was accompanied by HE Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, HE Lieutenant General Pilot Salem bin Hamad bin Aqil al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, HE Major General Zayed Ahmed al-Kuwari, Commander of the Signal Corps and Information Technology, and a number of Their Excellencies Ministers and senior officers of the Armed Forces.
