The Tamil-speaking Indian Muslim community in Qatar organised a blood donation campaign recently. “On the occasion of India’s 65th Republic Day, our forum, Qatar Indian Thowheed Center, organised a blood donation camp along with Hamad Medical Corporation, where 103 members donated blood,” said a press release. The event started at 2pm and went on till 10pm at the QITC campus in Thumama. “More than 300 members gathered at the QITC campus. The event was organised by QITC volunteers and executives,” said President J A Mazwood.
