A Masraf Al Rayan employee being honoured for participating in the blood donation campaign.
Masraf Al Rayan, a leading bank in Qatar and the region, yesterday held its annual blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
The annual humanitarian event, which was held at the bank's head office, came as part of Masraf Al Rayan's social responsibility strategy and programmes set to provide HMC's blood bank with the necessary supplies that could be used in saving lives and at the same time in raising awareness of the significance of donating blood. Nasser Raeissi, Assistant General Manager, Human Resources & Administration at Masraf Al Rayan, praised the campaign and the level of participation by the bank's employees. He also commended the effective collaboration with HMC in their mutual action to reach higher humanitarian goals.
The participants, from all departments of the bank, expressed great satisfaction with the cause, as they are being part of this year's campaign and the contribution they are making to alleviate the suffering of many people who may be in need of medical help.
