Hilton Doha staff burnish animal shelter

Hilton Doha team members, united with two other properties in Doha, once again demonstrated their commitment to the community by rehabilitating the Qatar Animal Shelter as part of its continuous efforts to foster the relationships.

Team members had a pleasure of visiting Qatar Animal Welfare Society, within the Global month of service, painted the surroundings, cleaned the area and even spent some time with the animals. In addition, the team made a nice relaxing area for the volunteers of the shelter and made sure that the food and medicine supplies were not only renewed but also topped up.

For nearly 100 years, Hilton has seen a world that can be made better through genuine hospitality. This passion drives everything Hilton teams do. Hilton Doha's efforts are a part of Hilton’s month-long celebration recognising the company’s year-round commitment to serving and enriching the communities where teams live, work and travel.

“As a proud member of the Doha community, it is gratifying to see so many team members from across our hotels combining their efforts to support the noteworthy causes such as the first Qatar Animal Welfare Society. We are honoured to work hand in hand with this worthwhile project to help highlight the good work carried out by the foundation” said Adham El Sebaey, General Manager at Hilton Doha.

Since 2012, Hilton’s Global Month of Service has been the company’s largest annual community service initiative, mobilising hundreds of thousands of Team Members from all over the world to impact their local communities through a variety of volunteer projects.
