Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by its Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, organised the second edition of the “Provision for Preachers” (Zad Al-Du’ah) forum on Monday, July 6, under the theme “The Role of Islamic Creed and the Deeds of the Heart in Strengthening Muslims During Times of Crisis.”
The event brought together 50 ministry preachers at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque Lecture Hall as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the scholarly and professional capabilities of its religious educators.
The forum forms part of the ministry’s strategy to equip preachers with the knowledge and skills needed to promote authentic Islamic values, address contemporary intellectual and social challenges, and provide balanced religious guidance that fosters resilience and community stability.
The scientific programme was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al Ghareeb, who highlighted the importance of sound Islamic creed in reinforcing psychological and spiritual steadfastness during periods of hardship. He emphasized that a strong foundation in faith enables preachers to guide society with confidence while promoting reassurance, hope, certainty in God’s promise, trust in Allah, and acceptance of divine decree.
The forum also reflects the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance’s commitment to continuously developing its educational and training content to meet evolving societal needs and strengthen the readiness of those working in the field of religious guidance.
The program featured four main themes designed to deepen participants’ understanding of faith-based resilience. The first focused on the role of Islamic creed as a source of strength during crises, highlighting belief in divine decree, trust in Allah, and certainty in His promises despite changing circumstances.
