DOHA: The country is expected to be hit by strong northwesterly winds from today until the end of next week.
The turbulence is attributed to a deepening of Indian seasonal low pressure over the region with the extension of the high-pressure area over the northwest of the Arabian Peninsula, the Meteorology Department said yesterday. The maximum temperatures would be at normal levels during this period, ranging between 41 and 44 degrees Celsius.
