Doha: Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) has recognised the outstanding accomplishments of the high achievers who came off with flying colours in the annual examination of academic year 2018-19 by conferring medals, and merit certificates on them at a ceremony.
The annual prize distribution ceremony is a regular feature instituted to acknowledge the marvellous talent and extraordinary perseverance of the students who scale the ladder of success by dint of sheer commitment and academic excellence.
Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan, graced the occasion as a chief guest. The Ambassador admired the whole administration of the school and faculty for bringing the school at the heights of excellence and expressed his happiness over the success of Bright and talented faces who will be the citizens of tomorrow who rule the world and who are going to make a difference in our society.
He said that the students are excelling pro-actively in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. He advised the faculty and students to continue working with the same devotion and passion.
The Principal of Pakistan International School, Nargis Raza Otho, Heads of all the wings, learned faculty and the outstanding achievers of Pakistan International School, parents of the award winners and a large number of students attended the event.
The ceremony was a joint venture of all the four wings of the school. Abdullah Naem, Abdullah Adil, Jawariya Rehman and Aqsa Shahid, students of girls and boys wing were the hosts of the prestigious ceremony.
First the colourful presentation made by the tiny tots of KG Wing earned the loudest praise by the audience. The students of primary wing performed short drama.
