A delegation of Morocco's Ministry of Equipment, Transport and Logistics was briefed on the modern facilities of Hamad Port as well as the operations and equipment.
During a visit to Hamad Port, the delegation learned about the stages of establishing the port and plans to transform Qatar into a vibrant commercial hub in the region.
The visit of the Moroccan delegation comes as part of a tour of the GCC countries to learn about the latest developments, experiences and benefits from plans and strategies related to maritime transport.
It is also part of the framework of the cooperation between Gulf Coperation Council (GCC) countries and Morocco in transport and communications sector and in implementation of the decision of the Committee of Officials of Port Authorities and Maritime Departments in the GCC countries at its 25th meeting held last October.
