Ramallah: Chairman of Qatar’s Gaza Reconstruction Committee H E Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi held a series of meetings in Ramallah and Jerusalem with local and international officials.
Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi met with Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein Al Sheikh.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the Palestinian situation at all levels. The meeting is a continuation of Ambassador Al Emadi’s meeting with Palestinian President H E Mahmoud Abbas in Doha a few days ago.
During his visit to the Palestinian territories, Ambassador Al Emadi will hold another series of meetings with the leadership of the Hamas movement in Gaza and other Palestinian factions, in addition to several UN, local, and international officials.
Within the framework of Qatar’s continuous efforts to support the Palestinian people and calm the situation, Ambassador Al Emadi met with Chief of the US Office of Palestinian Affairs George Noll in Jerusalem, during which they discussed the political and field conditions and ways to stop the Israeli occupation’s measures against the Palestinians.
Also, he met with representative of the European Union (EU) in Palestine, Sven Burgsdorff.
